glutted by glittering facade of dreary gleam,
i gazed steadily into the dark..
bewildered by wan silence of  it's plashy haze,
i long to go back where i come from..
where i belong..

a place where i am with her..
right on top of the hills..
where life dances with sprightly daffodils..
where even swarthy veil of gloom,
bear some semblance of light..
for there is the shadow of god,
inhabitance of heavenly might..
my mother!
she's my mother!

found reason in my most unreasonable cries..
my tears trickled through sable orbs of her ever vivid eyes..
paid heed to subtle signs of my meaningless mumblings..
held me as i tumbled, took me into her protective wings..
random utterances promised an unbreakable bond..
pause of words resembled angel's most beautiful song..

love kindles in the twinkling of her eyes..
pain dwindles through her reassuring lies..
who am i?
nothing but her blood and flesh..
i belong to her, no more no less..
for she's the mother..
my beautiful mother!

You have done your duty by writing a poem about mother. Whenever I see an article or poem about mother I like it as I love my mother
"Allah will reward you [with] goodness."
